World Online: facts and hypes

10 apr 2000 - AME Research received the prospectus of World Online on Tuesday March 14th early in the morning. We published our analysis on Wednesday March 15th late at night. Our conclusion was: a fundamental and realistic offering price range for World Online is 16 to 23. The company however, advised by ABNAMRO and other banks, decided to issue the shares for 43. That was the initial public offering price. At this price the IPO was about 5 times oversubscribed.
